Dependable Refrigeration was established in 1945 by Ed Winkle, it was subsequently purchased by Robert Rosenauer in 1948 and eventually purchased by its current owner, Bruce Rosenauer in 1982.  
 
We have been based in Los Angeles, CA as an independent remanufacturer of reciprocating semi-hermetic and open-drive freon compressors for over SEVENTY YEARS!   While many other companies have come and gone in that time, we have been and will continue to be, the largest and longest prevailing independent producer in the region.  With this kind of solid commitment to our customers and community, you can have faith that we will be here for your business needs.
 
Our lines include, but are not limited to: Carrier, Copeland, York, Trane, Worthington, Dunham Bush, Transicold, Daikin, Mitsubishi and Thermo King, ranging from 1/4 Horsepower to 200 Horsepower.  Our remanufactured and ready to ship/exchange inventory is in excess of 2,500 compressors, which is coupled with a core (old compressors) inventory well in excess of 5,000!
 
Dependable Refrigeration offers a one year warranty on all compressors purchased, including the first failed compressor, replaced at no extra charge!  We also provide, upon request, a complete tear-down analysis of your returned compressor(s).  All shipments are same day on all remanufactured exchange compressors that are in stock.
